TaLiN seeks justice and equality for all students through empowering Newark educators to be catalysts in the creation of social and educational alliances.
Mission
- to organize and build the capacity of Newark's educators to deliver a conscious, social justice-based education;
- to collaborate with individuals and organizations in the community to support the education our students receive in schools;
- to work toward bringing about an equitable, just--and therefore equal--education for Newark's students.
